Fluid Industries: Blue Moon

Our sample of Blue Moon from Fluid Industries was a 50/50 PG/VG mix at 12mg/ml of nicotine.

Blue Moon is a somewhat unique juice, in that it blends two fruits, strawberry and blueberry, not commonly used in the same juice, and adds menthol on top of it by default.  The end result, however, surprised us quite a bit.

The primary flavor of this juice is the strawberry. It’s not overpoweringly strong, but the sweet, authentic berry flavor does sit up front in this juice, followed by a somewhat understated splash of blueberry.  The finish, as expected, is obviously menthol, though not in large amounts.

The cream mentioned in the description does a nice job of rounding out the blend and keeping any one flavor, particularly the menthol, from becoming too harsh. All in all it’s a very well-crafted juice, and even many of the non-menthol people here can appreciate the mild coolness the menthol provides to the vape.

We confess we did not really expect to like this juice, as many berry flavors are just awful, and either super-perfumy or far too candy-like.  Fluid avoided these pitfalls and came up with a surprisingly smooth, cool and slightly sweet juice that we have no qualms with recommending.
