“It’s an extracted tobacco that is light weight and creamy with a nice tobacco undertone.” – Heather’s Heavenly Vapes
A favorite of many, Heather’s Heavenly Vapes may be known primarily for the Natural Tobacco Extracts (or NETs) such as Legend (formerly known as Gandalf before a trademark dispute with Warner Brothers, after which it was briefly named ADV).
Heavenly Army is the latest addition to their “Purity” line of e-juices, and is named in honor of their extremely loyal legion of admirers on ECF. The Purity line contains flavorings and extractions with no propylene glycol (PG), allowing a PG-free mix, if desired. It is itself a NET, very much in the vein of other HHV NETs such as Legend and, particularly, Shadow (which was formerly named Shadowfax).
At the base of Heavenly Army is a light-to-medium tobacco extraction very similar to the one used in Shadow. It has the same sort of creamy mouth feel of Shadow, and the tobacco is not overpowering. This is not an ashy or overbearing tobacco; it is very much a mellow pipe-type tobacco, not one of a cigarette or cigar.
Unlike Shadow, however, there’s a bit of fruitiness to Heavenly Army. Some of us identified it as raisins, or possibly plums, while other detected more of a cherry note. This fruitiness compliments the creaminess of the tobacco quite well, without being sweet enough to overpower the blend. We also noted a hint of spiciness to the blend, somewhat like the spiciness noticeable in another popular HHV juice, Pirate’s Booty.
Overall, we found this to be a rather complex juice, while still remaining easy to vape for long periods. While it bears some similarities to other HHV NETs, it stands quite well on its own as a finely-crafted, flavorful tobacco extract which we will certainly be ordering again.
