Some hardware you buy… well, just because you can.  The bOd telescoping body for the eVic is one such device.  It’s built well enough.  The threads aren’t buttery, but they work.  We’ve got no complaints about the finish of the stainless steel.  The price may be a bit steep, especially for a couple tubes and a top cap.

evic-telescopic-b-Don’t get us wrong…  the bOd actually does provide some usefulness, such as being able to use any battery from an 18350 to an 18650 in your eVic.  It also gives you a choice (if you purchase both top caps) of a slanted head or a flat top.  But, really, what’s the real reason you would buy a stainless steel, telescoping body for an eVic?  That’s right — because it looks cooler than a stock eVic.  And, yes, we agree. An eVic with the bOd as way cooler than an eVic without one.

The bOd won’t give you a better vape.  It may or may not make your eVic last longer. It won’t add any new functionality you don’t have already, other than the ability to use something other than the stock battery at a price much, much higher than the other options out there.  However, what it will do is make you eVic heavier, shinier, and cooler than other people’s eVics, and that’s really what’s important, isn’t it?

We purchased our bOd with both top caps from greekvapes.eu for €50 (or about $91.00 as of today).  Was it worth it?  We’ll let you be the judge.
