UK's Daily Mail Retracts Negative Article

The UK’s Daily Mail has retracted an article and printed an apology for an article which stated that “experts … warn that electronic cigarettes may be more damaging than the habit they replace.”


In addition to deleting the article, after complaints to the UK’s Press Complaints Commission, the paper has issued an apology, stating that “we are not aware of any experts who hold this view compared to the risks of cancer, heart disease and lung damage from real cigarettes.”
